Priscilla Giddings

White Bird, Idaho

Representative Priscilla Giddings was raised on a ranch in White Bird, Idaho and graduated as student body president and valedictorian of Salmon River High in Riggins. She earned a B.S. in biology from the United States Air Force Academy where she was also a NCAA Division I track athlete. She completed an online program for a M.S. in physiology from California University of Pennsylvania while serving overseas. She served nine years on active duty, then in the Idaho Air National Guard and is currently a Major in the Air Force Reserves. During her service she accumulated nearly 1,000 combat flight hours and nine air medals during three combat deployments. During flight training she was awarded “Top Gun” as an A-10 fighter pilot. After separating from active duty she was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives, she authored the book, Curiously Strong: A Female Fighter Pilot’s Story of Developing Strength and was distinguished with Idaho’s 2018 Outstanding Woman Veteran Award. Priscilla and her husband Matt have two daughters.
