Cameron Belt has spent the last 6 years redefining transportation in Nevada by working with two of the fastest growing companies in history. He is currently the Southwest Regional Analytics Manager for Lyft. Prior to this, Cameron worked for Uber as an Operations Strategy Manager, scaling the newly-launched Las Vegas business. His background combines experience in research, applied economics, operations, strategic finance, and business analytics. For the past 10 years, Cameron has also provided expert economic analysis for multiple groups in Nevada, including the Nevada Policy Research Institute and the University of Nevada Center for Economic Development. Through these positions he has helped shape state-wide policy on topics such as the fiscal impacts of expanding public employee unions, the effects of introducing a sales tax on local services, and barriers to entrepreneurship. Cameron holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. His writings have been published through the Heritage Foundation, NPRI, and his work has been cited in the WSJ. Cameron is a Board Member for the Keystone Corporation, Nevada’s foremost pro-business organization. He has been married to his wife, Amber, since 2017, and they hope to start a family soon.
