Ryan Jones

Saratoga Springs, NY

Ryan Jones is a veteran of the U.S. Army and first year JD candidate. After graduating from Brown University in 2014 with degrees in both physics and economics he spent three years working in Washington, D.C., for the government relations firm J.A. Green & Co. While in Washington, Ryan worked closely on defense procurement and issues related to critical materials, including rare earth elements. 

In 2017, Ryan enlisted in the U.S. Army. After completing Officer Candidate School, Ryan commissioned as a Second Lieutenant before completing his training as an infantry officer. Upon graduating from the U.S. Army’s Ranger School, Ryan served two years with the 101st Airborne Division, including one deployment to East Africa. 

Ryan is an avid outdoorsman. A frequent backcountry skier and hiker, he has climbed mountains all over the world and is currently completing his journey to summit the highest point in every state.
