Mike Hill

Representative Hill was elected the Florida State Legislature in November 2018. He serves in District 1, which includes a part of Pensacola and North Escambia County. He serves on the following Florida House Legislative Committees: Judiciary Committee, Civil Justice Subcommittee, and PreK-12 Quality Subcommittee. Representative Mike Hill was previously elected to the Florida State Legislature in June 2013-November 2016. He served District 2 which includes the city of Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and Gulf Breeze. Mike Hill began his professional career as a State Farm Agent in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in July 1990. Prior to becoming an agent, Mike was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force for ten years, after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was selected as the Company Grade Officer of the Year in 1988 while stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida. Also, while on active duty, Mike earned an MBA from the University of West Florida in 1988. Mike was presented with an honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Pensacola Christian College in 2015. Mike has been married to the former Greta Fields for the past 37 years and has three adult children: Joshua, 27; Jessica, 24; and Jonathan, 23. He enjoys reading, Jazz and classical music, and sailing.
