Bill Eigel
Missouri
Bill Eigel is a husband, father, veteran, and small business owner. Bill currently serves as the State Senator from Missouri’s 23rd Senatorial District and was sworn into office on January 4, 2017.
He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain. He served for nearly eight years with assignments in Louisiana, Arizona, and at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri.
During his service, Bill deployed to multiple foreign locations, including Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for his service as the Officer-In-Charge for America’s primary airlift refuel stop between Afghanistan and Europe in 2004.
After leaving the service in 2007, the Eigels purchased St. Louis Skylights, a small residential and commercial remodeling company. After significant growth, and with permanent locations in Missouri and Illinois, National Skylight Solutions is one of the fastest-growing skylight installation companies in the country.
Senator Eigel is also a founding member of the Senate Conservative Caucus and the Missouri Freedom Caucus, advocating for limited government, lower taxes, and individual freedoms.
