Chad Blackburn

Nashville native Chad Blackburn serves as Director of Business Development at Cherry Bekaert, a top 25 national accounting firm. He oversees the business development activities in the Nashville market primarily with some focus in the Washington DC market.  Prior to Cherry Bekaert, Blackburn serviced as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Pathway Health Partners which provides patented, cloud-based preventive care services to millions of individuals through healthcare providers and benefit plans. Before Pathway Health Partners, Blackburn served as Vice President of Business Development for MDSave which provides a consumer based healthcare transactional platform to hospital systems. Before MDSave he worked with ACS/Xerox providing an inpatient predictive clinical analytics tool to multi facility hospital systems.  Blackburn earned his MBA from Western Governors University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Mississippi, where he was a Division 1 Varsity Track athlete. He served as Vice President of the business school and was an officer of the Sigma Chi fraternity in which he remains an active alumnus.  Blackburn is an Eagle Scout, and serves as member of the Board of Directors for the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Blackburn is active in both local and national charitable organizations. He is a competitive triathlete and a dedicated member of Christ Presbyterian Church. He and Hillary Freeman married in April 2015.
