Jeremy Munson
Lake Crystal, MN
Jeremy Munson was raised in a liberal household but found liberty and limited government in college through starting several small businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors. He graduated with a business degree from the University of Minnesota and has built a career in the financial services industry, focusing on regulatory compliance projects in several highly regulated industries. He was elected to multiple party leadership roles and served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, where he represented the state for three terms, championing free markets in healthcare and advocating for limited government. He started a state version of the House Freedom Caucus, called the New House Republican Caucus, where he and three members managed their own staff and communications team to lead the charge on limited government and sued Governor Walz for shutting down the state during the COVID-19 pandemic. Munson was recruited to run for Congress after Congressman Hagedorn’s death, receiving the endorsement and support of the Club for Growth, the House Freedom Fund, Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz, and Congressmen Thomas Massie, Scott Perry, and Jim Jordan. In November 2025, Munson will enter the race to serve in the Minnesota State Senate.
