Jett Nye

Granville, OH

I was born and raised in Granville, a small town outside Columbus, Ohio. I attended Granville High School, where I earned All-Ohio honors in football before continuing my education at the United States Air Force Academy.

At the Academy, I studied business while developing as a leader and preparing for a career in the profession of arms. After graduating and commissioning as a second lieutenant in May 2019, I began Undergraduate Pilot Training. Following two years of rigorous training, I earned my wings as an Air Force aviator.

I am now a Captain serving in Louisiana. I am an aircraft commander in an operational and deployable squadron flying the nuclear-capable B-52 Stratofortress. I have deployed multiple times and flown missions around the world.

Outside of the Air Force, I am the proud father of my daughter, Rowan, who is my greatest source of purpose and motivation. Growing up with humble beginnings in Ohio taught me the importance of character, striving for excellence, and dreaming big. This country has given me tremendous opportunity and I feel a deep responsibility to contribute to its continued prosperity.
