John Wahl

John Wahl is one of Alabama’s leading political strategists, and is currently serving as Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. John worked on the transition team of U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, and was a 2020 Presidential Elector representing the State of Alabama on the Electoral College.

John is a committed Christian and constitutional conservative with a strong record of service to conservative causes. He is well known for his work across the State of Alabama. He is a public speaker, news commentator and author. His background in the Alabama Republican Party includes ALGOP Field Director, State Executive Committee member, District Vice-Chair, State Senior Vice-Chair, and now State Chairman.

John is a small businessman, and native of Limestone County, Alabama. He is a leptozoologist (butterfly farmer) by trade, and serves on the board of directors for the International Butterfly Breeders Association.
