Ron Ferguson

Wintersville, OH

State Representative Ron Ferguson is currently serving his first term as State Representative for the 96th Ohio house district, which includes Jefferson County, Monroe County and part of Belmont County.

Born in Wintersville and raised in the Ohio Valley, Representative Ferguson is passionate about funding local communities. He is very involved in creating good jobs throughout Eastern Ohio and is currently working to develop an entertainment center to bring jobs and fun actives for families in the community. 

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from The Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, Representative Ferguson was a Politics, Society and Law Scholar. He has spent five years working as a television journalist and has most recently worked for WTOV-TV in Steubenville. 

Representative Ferguson resides in Wintersville.
