Savannah Maddox was elected to serve in the Kentucky General Assembly in 2018. In her first term, she proposed and passed Constitutional Carry and the Campus Free Speech Act, and was recognized by the Hazlitt Coalition as the “National Freshman of the Year”. She was also named Americans for Prosperity’s “Legislative Champion for Kentucky”, and was honored with the .50 Caliber Freedom Award on behalf of the National Association of Gun Rights for her tireless efforts in making Kentucky the 15th state to pass Constitutional Carry legislation. She attended Northern Kentucky University, where she obtained degrees in History and International Relations. She serves on the Transportation Committee, Judiciary, Veterans and Military Affairs, and State Government. Savannah has been leading the fight in Kentucky to oppose government overreach, and has made it her mission to redefine the appropriate role of government to protect our constitutional rights and individual liberties.
