Scot Turner

Scot Turner is a conservative policy entrepreneur and former Georgia State Representative for District 21. He is the founder and executive director of Eternal Vigilance Action, a Georgia based multi-issue nonprofit focused on election policy, accountability, and practical reforms that strengthen public trust. Under his leadership, EVA helped expand risk limiting audits in Georgia, built cross partisan policy coalitions, and won a 2025 Georgia Supreme Court case that protected separation of powers in election administration, over turning Georgia version of Chevron Deference. Scot also launched the Eternal Vigilance Institute for nonpartisan civic education and publishes Peach Pundit, a leading outlet on Georgia politics and policy. 

Before public service he spent two decades as an operator and team leader in technology and compliance, including roles with Hewlett Packard and EMC Testing. His legislative work covered licensing reform, tax and transparency measures, and civil asset forfeiture. He is co author of a 2025 R Street paper on building trust in Georgia elections. Scot lives in Holly Springs with with Kelly, his wife of twenty-seven years, and their two children.
