Former Speaker Tim Jones served in the Missouri House from 2007 to 2015. Speaker Jones successfully cut Missouri’s income tax for the first time in state history and passed historic legislation for the protection of life, the Second Amendment, school choice, labor, and litigation reform, and protected Missourians from an ever-encroaching federal government.
Now, as a media personality and evening drive show host, Tim is a respected political analyst and commentator. Tim also represents Americans for Tax Reform and the American Legislative Exchange Council in the Midwest and serves as the State Director of the Missouri Freedom Caucus. Tim is the Founder and President of Elevation Strategies, a political, public policy, and communications consulting company.
Previously, Tim helped lead the public policy media company First Rule as their Chief Communications Officer from 2015 to 2020. During that time, Tim also served as Chairman of the Board of the Missouri Club for Growth. Tim began his career in 1997 as a prosecuting attorney, then entered private practice while serving as President of the Board of Aldermen for the City of Eureka and then in the Missouri General Assembly.
Tim is married to the accomplished Suzanne, and they are blessed with two brilliant daughters, Katie & Abby.
