TJ Roberts

Burlington, KY

TJ Roberts is a lifelong resident of Boone County, where his family has lived for generations, and Represent’s Kentucky House District 66.

As a college student, he stood up to university administrators who suppressed conservative speech, sparking a passion for defending the Bill of Rights and the freedoms it guarantees.

In 2020, TJ filed suit against Governor Andy Beshear for his lockdown orders during COVID-19 that banned worship and protest. TJ’s case resulted in a victory that upheld the rights guaranteed by the First and Fourteenth Amendments and helped set a national precedent for the protection of religious liberty and free assembly during emergencies.

Following this victory, TJ continued to advance the cause of liberty across Kentucky. He worked with the campaigns and teams of national liberty leaders. While in law school, he fought in Frankfort to expand personal and economic freedom by limiting government to the limits of the Constitution.

As an attorney, Rep. Roberts fights for liberty in federal court and specializes in Constitutional Litigation, and continues this fight as a legislator, representing KY’s House District 66. In the House, for limited government, lower taxes, secure elections, fiscal sanity, choice in currency, free enterprise, and liberty.
