Washington, D.C. – The Club for Growth Foundation announced the winners of its second annual Fellowship Alumni Awards. The award ceremony took place during the Foundation’s annual alumni reunion, where over half of the Fellowship Network gathered in Washington, D.C. for the 2025 meeting. This year’s awards and recipients included:
FELLOW OF THE YEAR: Alex Titcomb, Executive Director, The Dinner Table – Maine
The Fellow of the Year Award is presented to a Fellow who exemplifies dedication and engagement within the Fellowship. This individual consistently uplifts and supports others in the network, fostering connection, collaboration, and a unity of spirit. A true force multiplier, their engagement inspires and empowers the Fellowship network, making them a cornerstone and an example of the values we strive to advance. Additional finalists included Jenny Clark, founder and CEO of Love Your School from Arizona, and Brice Futch, firefighter-paramedic in Northwest Georgia.
Alex Titcomb is the executive director of The Dinner Table. Alex embodies the spirit of the Club for Growth Fellowship through his consistent engagement and support of the network beyond his participation. Most notably, Alex spearheaded an effort to expand the alumni reunion by an additional day, recognizing that this once-a-year gathering is invaluable for deeper connections and more meaningful exchanges among members. Not only did he initiate this change, but Alex also helped raise funding to make the expansion possible, ensuring that cost would not stand in the way of fellowship and collaboration. Alex’s dedication demonstrates leadership, initiative, and a genuine commitment to strengthening the network of Fellows. Alex’s leadership, generosity, and support of this network stand out as a clear choice for Fellow of the Year.
“I am just truly honored to be a small part of the fellowship, inspired by David’s vision for the network, and want to encourage all fellows to find ways to give back to the Foundation.” — Alex Titcomb
COURAGE UNDER FIRE: Laurel Libby, State Representative, Maine
The Courage Under Fire Award celebrates a Fellow who has demonstrated leadership, resilience, and impact in the face of adversity. Whether in public policy, public service, business, or advocacy, this individual has pursued freedom and excellence with unrelenting determination, remaining principled, focused, and courageous despite immense pressure or challenges. Additional finalists included Illinois State Rep. Blaine Wilhour and Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison.
Maine Representative Laurel Libby refused to be silenced when legislative leaders stripped her of her ability to represent her constituents on the House floor. Rather than back down, she pursued her case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, determined to defend the voices of those she serves. Along the way, she became a national figure — speaking out in major media outlets, engaging with federal agencies, and making the case for fairness and accountability in government. Despite fierce opposition, Rep. Libby remained composed and steadfast, showing uncommon resolve in the face of political retribution. Laurel’s fight reflects the essence of courage under fire: standing unflinching when the cost is highest.
“It is an incredible honor to receive the Courage Under Fire award from the Club for Growth Foundation. The Fellowship equipped me with the confidence and tools to stand strong through some of the toughest political battles of my career. From defending free speech to speaking truth about biological reality in sports – and even facing censure meant to silence me – the media training and network I gained through the Fellowship proved invaluable. That preparation allowed me to face intense scrutiny with clarity and conviction, and the nationwide network of conservative allies has reminded me I am never fighting alone.” — State Rep. Laurel Libby.
