“David Johnson currently serves as the Chief Counsel for the Advisory Division in the Indiana Office of the Attorney General. In this role, David crafts Attorney General opinions, answers questions from the General Assembly, provides counsel to state agencies, and helps craft policy. Prior to joining the Office of Attorney General, David served as corporation counsel for a mid-sized city. Previously, David worked for the State of Indiana in different roles – including as deputy general counsel and policy director for Governor Pence, Executive Director of the Office of State-Based Initiatives, and as a staff attorney for the Indiana Gaming Commission.  David received his AB from Wabash College and his JD from the IU McKinney School of Law, and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife and two kids.”
