Newport Beach Mayor Will O’Neill graduated from Stanford University (B.A. History) and then U.C. Hastings College of the Law (J.D.). He is a partner at a small law firm and previously worked for California Supreme Court Justice Marvin Baxter (Ret.). As Mayor and a City Council Member, Will has led on his city’s pension reform, overhauled his city’s civil asset seizure reform, reduced his city’s overly-bureaucratic set of Council polices by over 20,000 words, and co-authored debt policies for a multi-billion dollar regional transportation agency. Will and his wife, Jenny, are raising two young children named Aubrey (7) and Sean (5).
